PPM 006: How Nick Robertson Started A Successful Corporate Podcast At Legal Firm Mayer Brown

Today on the Podcast Power Marketing podcast we’re talking to Nicholas Robertson, partner at global legal services provider Mayer Brown. Nick is also head of Mayer Brown’s London Employment Group, and is the host of one of Mayer Brown’s fortnightly podcasts, ‘UK Employment Law – The View From Mayer Brown‘.

Nick had the idea for the podcast with an epiphany in a Woking car park whilst on his daily commute. He took the idea to Mayer Brown’s business development team who backed his forward thinking, and now the Mayer Brown UK Employment Law is the leading podcast in it’s field.

Interestingly the Mayer Brown podcasts are used as a professional development tool, with the episodes even being able to be counted as CPD points.
